randstad was challenged by an insurance company to search for the best possible talent for accounting assistant to work in their shared services center.

you'll be challenged to do the following functions:

  • Regular posting of business transactions;
  • Month, Quarter and Year End activities;
  • Support Accounts Payable and Treasury processes which are processed within a group function;
  • Accounts, banks and systems reconciliations;
  • Intercompany reconciliations;
  • Run financial monthly reports;
  • Support the development of the Accounting Administrators;
  • Create and/or review processes and internal documentation;
  • Support Line manager in standardization/automation of European procedures;
  • Maintain KPI’s and assure SLA’s are accomplished.

do you think you can handle it? If you have:
a degree qualification in Economic/Administrative/Accounting area or equivalent;
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience;
Fluency in English and German.
(Other European languages French, Dutch, or Spanish would be welcome);
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a member of different teams;
Focused attention to detail and accuracy, structured and autonomous working style;
